E-flower cards started in March as a way to stay connected during the COVID-19 crisis and to donate to organizations who were helping with the most vulnerable in our community. In the wake of the death of George Floyd, the last several weeks have been a time for listening and learning, reading and talking about systemic racism, police brutality, and finding ways to help create a more just and equitable world. E-flower cards are a small way for Sadie Blossoms to help and 100% of e-flower cards proceeds will be donated to Equal Justice Initiative and My Block, My Hood, My City.
Equal Justice Initiative is an organization that challenges poverty and racial inequality, advocates for equal treatment in the criminal justice system, and creates hope for marginalized communities.
My Block, My Hood, My City is an organization in Chicago that provides youth with new experiences outside of their communities exposing them to possibilities in an effort to gain greater understanding of the world.
Pick an e-flower card and we will "deliver your flowers" via e-mail to your recipient. It's a nice way to say "Happy Birthday" or "thanks for the driveway distanced drink" or just "I'm thinking of you!" It's a simple way to spread some kindness in the world and make someone happy with flowers.
